Spider-Man

Early Life

Peter Benjamin Parker was born to scientists Richard and Mary Parker in Maryland. Peter lived in Maryland with his parents until he was five years old. At that time, Peter was left in the care of his uncle and aunt in Forest Hills, Queens, while his parents were on a trip with their friend Edward Brock, Sr. Tragically, the plane the trio was in went down, killing both of Peter's parents and Edward Brock, Sr. Ben and May Parker then decided to raise young Peter as their own.

Middle School

Years later, in middle school, Peter first encountered bullies Flash Thompson and Kenny Kong. Peter also befriended Harry Osborn and Randy Robertson.

High School and Becoming Spider-Man

Origin of Spider-Man

After a bite from a genetically enhanced spider granted him spider-like abilities, Peter began a short-lived wrestling career; which is how he gained his costume. However, one night, Peter refused to use his powers to stop a thief from robbing a bodega. Returning home, Peter learned that the bodega thief had also tried to rob the Parker house, and ended up killing Peter's uncle Ben. Now taking his uncle's motto, "with great power comes great responsibility", to heart, Peter resolved to use his newfound powers as the costumed identity of Spider-Man.
